What this estimate assumes
For Singapore citizen children, entered oldest first. Child LifeSG Credits: S$500 for each child aged 0 to 12 in 2025 (born 2013 to 2025) and another S$500 for each child aged 0 to 12 in 2026 (born 2014 to 2026). Newborns are paid the following April. Large Family LifeSG Credits: S$1,000 a year for each third and later child, for the years the child turns 1 to 6. They are paid in 2025 and 2026 only, and stop when the SG Child Support Package starts. Child Credits from that package (S$2,000 a year, ages 1 to 16, first paid April 2027) are paid in cash to the child's bank account, so we show them separately. We count by calendar year; the LifeSG app's records are authoritative, and LifeSG credits expire after about 12 months.

Why are Child Credits shown separately?
They come from the SG Child Support Package and are paid in cash to the bank account linked to your child's PayNow ID, not as LifeSG credits.
Do Large Family LifeSG Credits continue?
No. They were paid in 2025 and 2026 and stop with no 2027 payment, as the SG Child Support Package replaces the Large Families Scheme.
