    What this estimate assumes

    For a Singapore citizen child with lawfully married parents. LifeSG decides eligibility and amounts. The Baby Bonus Scheme and Large Families Scheme are replaced by the SG Child Support Package from 1 Apr 2027. LifeSG has not yet said how a cash gift already partly paid is topped up, so check before you plan around it. Child Credits (S$2,000 a year) and the PSEA top-up are paid over many years and are not in the total. Verify with LifeSG Baby Bonus and SG Child Support Package. Checked .

    What changes for babies born from 1 April 2027?

    They get the SG Child Support Package: a S$10,000 Baby Gift, a S$5,000 CDA First Step Grant and CDA matching up to S$5,000. It is the same for every birth order, plus Child Credits and a PSEA top-up later.
