Common questions

Why are local school fees so small here?

School fees for Singapore citizens at government and government-aided schools are low: MOE's 2026 monthly fees are S$13 in primary and S$25 in secondary, plus up to S$18 at autonomous schools (read 10 October 2026). Preschool, enrichment and university make up most of the bill.

Does this include inflation?

No. Figures are in today's dollars. The education savings projector adds inflation to the university bill.
